IFE continues to be busy, with plenty
of fun, for the Legacy Lady Birds.
Recently, the Lady Birds have enjoyed a
breakfast barbeque on The Strand, a day
tour of Magnetic Island, Christmas in July
and attended various theatre productions.
More activities are planned including
a visit to the Mission to Seafarers, a day
trip to Charters Towers, more theatre
outings and a Melbourne Cup lunch.

ceremonies in Townsville which were held to
commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the
Battle of Long Tan. Some ladies attended a
Dawn Service which included the dedication
of a memorial to the Vietnam veterans.
This was followed by a delicious
