Lisa said the students had a
great time and were already
asking about next year’s camp.
“The relationships made during the
camp and support they provided to
each other was fantastic,” she said.
The students posted daily on
Facebook blogs and achieved
a reach of more than 7000.
One parent posted: “Every kid
in Australia should be doing this...
how lucky are these kids?”
Lisa said it was, without doubt,
a very worthwhile camp for the
Defence students and had made
many great memories and built
many long lasting friendships
and support networks.
She thanked the soldiers and
the support from 3rd Brigade
which made it possible.
