ET ready for the
Townsville RAAF
Base Christmas Treat!
It will be held
in, and around, the
gymnasium precinct
on Friday, November
18 beginning at 4pm.
The afternoon and
evening of fun is
aimed at children up
to 16 years of age.
The $10 entry fee for
children covers a gift,
and a professionalquality photograph
with Santa, entry
to all the rides and
activities, and a superdelicious sausage
sandwich and a drink.

was open to everybody
employed at RAAF
Base Townsville
and their families.
There will be food and
drink on sale as well as
rides and slides, facepainting, laser tag, a
petting zoo, zorb balls,
raffles and much more.

Gordon Hurford welcomed a new addition to his flock of grandchildren recently with
the arrival of “Bear” Hurford. Bear is an NSCnews Online prize won by Gordon
after his entry in the magazine’s crossword competition was successful. Indie and
Phoenix Hurford are obviously delighted with Poppy’s success. Have a go at this
