3Bde excels

RACK shots from 3Bde dominated the Australian
Skill at Arms Meeting (AASAM) conducted last month.
Brigade soldiers also won signifi cant representation
in the Australian team to contest the international
competition against almost 20 teams from other nations.
Leading up to AASAM, eight teams contested
the annual 3Bde shooting competition an
integral part of the Commander’s Trophy.
The shooting competition had two parts - Applied
Marksmanship Practice (AMP) and the F89
Advanced Application of Fire (AAF) - and rival
battalions 1RAR and 2RAR dominated.
