Toby’s mates and their 3CSSB handlers stride along the Riverway walkway Toby does a sterling job T HE 3CSSB Riverway dog walk, led by Battalion mascot LCPL Toby Tebiass, was a great success, raising more than $1500 for charity. Toby ordered PTE Andrew Phillips to do most of the work organising the activity in which each of the Battalion’s sub-units participated in turn across four days last month. PTE Xavier Dobson, PTE Ben McAlpine and PTE Chaintelle Sfratta sizzle the sausages CAPT Lucy Burns walking Toby PTE Nathan Quinn and Scarlett with PTE Caitlyn Ley and Skye Andrew said, although it was a good foundation on which to build in future years, it was a tentative start. Roughly 50 people and their dogs turned out each morning for the 5km walk alongside representatives of one of the charities - Hounds4Healing. The Battalion’s nominated charity - the Salvation Army - was the other benefi ciary.
