People will be able to sign in for the Legacy
charity runs from 5am at CSIRO Flats.
At 6am, competitors in the Poziere’s Challenge
Endurance Race will receive their safety brief and race
instructions before the order to start is given at 8am.
MAJ Gallegos said units would start at
diff erent times according to the amount of
money they had raised for Legacy.
Teams will have no idea of what to expect when they
begin the Poziere’s Challenge, but they will all complete a
mystery activity before heading out on the course proper.
The endurance course fi nishes with the Brigade
obstacle course so it’s a true test of endurance.
Last year, 1RAR picked up the 100pts for fi rst place
consolidating their lead in the Commander’s Trophy.
Section attack demonstrations would be conducted by
3RAR at 8.30am and 1.30pm, batteries from 4Regt RAA
would hold a gun race at 10am and there would be activities
aimed at children throughout the day and amusement rides.
Food and drink will be on sale at various unit
stalls with the unit Regimental Trust Funds
splitting the profi t with Legacy on the day.
LTCOL Stanley said the 1RAR Band would
provide entertainment during the day.
MAJ Gallegos said registrations for the
Legacy trail runs closed on September 1.

run, $20 for the 10km run and the fee for the 5km run is $10.
