Defence-owned chairs on loan,
and anybody can have a go.
Every Friday night, there
are two games, as well as
some scratch matches.
Each of the three teams - the
Hotdogs, Cyclones and the
Mates4Mates team - could do
with more players on the bench.
“It’s the same as standard
basketball with obviously some
modifi cations,” Paul said.
“Basketball is a non-contact
sport, so the rules are mostly
about collisions in the chairs.
“Everything else is the same,
including dribbling the ball
as you move and fi ve players
on each team on the court.”
