The Army girls celebrate winning the Inter-Service Aussie rules Championships

There was an Army AFL camp leading into the games against Navy and RAAF - both of which they won - and it provided many highlights for Taylah and Kertisha . “ It was amazing to be around those girls - every one of them are really good players ,” Taylah said . “ We ’ re obviously not on that level , but it ’ s awesome to be playing with girls that are so good .” Now they ’ re waiting to see if they will be selected in the ADF All Stars team , an unlikely goal , but one they ’ re both hoping they will achieve . It would be a nice reward for them ... and it ’ s a team in which their male colleagues can ’ t hope to win selection .
