Having unexpectedly
failed at the free-throw
line in the dying seconds
of a game, and thus
lost the match, Suzy
deliberately put herself
on the line again two
games later, accepting the
pressure for the team.
This time she
won the match.
Claudia said it epitomised
the theme for International
Women’s Day - Be
Bold for Change.
Claudia’s own motto,
which she obviously
lives by, is: “If you don’t
live on the edge, you
can’t see the view”.
