The three-team competition
under the umbrella of Townsville
Basketball is turning out to be a
wonderful ice-breaker between
Defence members, ex-service
men and women (particularly
those who are wounded, injured,
or ill), and wheelchair bound
and able-bodied civilians.
“It really is the next step
in terms of Defence people
mixing with civilians and
having a bit of fun,” he said.
