Attended by some of the city’s business and civic leaders, BRIG Field briefl y described the career of BRIG Lachlan Wilson, a Townsville lawyer who originally volunteered to fi ght in the Boer War. He fought at Gallipoli and in the desert campaigns. As a lawyer, he was a founding partner in Townsville law fi rm Wilson, Ryan and Grose. APRIL 2017 | 11
