NSCA ANNOUNCES NEW
PERFORMANCE CENTER
ADMINISTRATOR AND ASSISTANT
STRENGTH COACH
AUBREY WATTS
PERFORMANCE CENTER ADMINISTRATOR/
ASSISTANT STRENGTH COACH
The National Strength and Conditioning
Association (NSCA) recently welcomed
the addition of Aubrey Watts as the
new Performance Center Administrator/
Assistant Strength Coach located at
NSCA Headquarters in Colorado Springs,
CO. In this position, her responsibilities
will include facilitating the day-to-day
operations of the Performance Center,
coordinating the intern program,
processing the Registered Strength and
Conditioning Coach (RSCC) application
and database entry, and acting as the main
contact for athletes and the facility.

Watts graduated from California State
University, Long Beach in 2013 with an
undergraduate in Kinesiology with an
emphasis in Fitness. While attending
school, she completed various internships
and held positions coaching and
coordinating facilities in the corporate,
commercial, and private sectors. One
such internship at Velocity Sports
Performance provided experience
training athletes and designing programs
specifically focused on improving speed,
agility, mobility, and flexibility.
As the new Administrator for the NSCA
Performance Center and Assistant Strength
Coach, one of the first programs Watts
will undertake is the NSCA Summer Youth
Camp. Based on her previous experience
training athletes, Watts is the ideal
candidate to preside over the design and
implementation of this high performance
based training program for both middle
and high school athletes designed to
improve speed, agility, flexibility, mobility,
conditioning, acceleration, deceleration,
and balance. Additionally, this program
will provide proper instruction for
movement preparation, skill development,
and lifting/drill techniques with an
emphasis on reducing injury risks and
improving performance.
