VISION STATEMENT OUTLINING
THE CRITICAL AND/OR
SUBSTANTIVE ISSUES FACING
THE NSCA, SPECIFIC GOALS FOR
THE NSCA, AND AN INDICATION
OF HOW SUCH GOALS MAY BE
ACHIEVED
As a member of the Board of Directors
for the NSCA, my vision is to assist
the organization in maintaining and
broadening its worldwide authority on
strength and conditioning. Achieved
and sustained through research
dissemination, coaching assistance, best
practices, and safety and health guidelines,
I will be an active participant in advising,
overseeing, assisting, leading, supporting,
and promoting these and all aspect
of the NSCA.
As an ambassador of the NSCA, I will
continue to work with sport and exercise
research scientists and sport and
performance coaches to bridge the gap
between research outcomes and practical
performance coaching.
As well, I will continue to push the barriers
of technology and innovation in sports
performance. I will study the expanding
knowledge/information that is gained
through technology and apply these
ideas of programming, training, and injury
prevention for practical use.
In constant pursuit of excellence in best
practices for performance training, I will
network to gain and share information with
other performance coaches, sport coaches,
sports medicine personnel, and athletes
for the betterment of the NSCA and our
profession as a whole.
