Learning styles is a term used to refer to the methods of gathering, processing,
interpreting, organizing, and thinking about information. (Marcy, 2001) In 1987
Dr. Neil D. Fleming, an educator of more than 40 years created VARK, an acronym
for visual, aural, read/write, and kinesthetic preference modalities. In Fleming's
model, learners are identified by whether they have a preference for visual
learning (pictures, movies, diagrams), Aural (auditory) learning (music, discussion,
lectures), reading and writing (making lists, reading textbooks, taking notes), or
