About The AlexanderProject

The Alexander Project is a voluntary and private project aimed at children who come to hospital.

This is a great strain for the young children. Therefore, it is not uncommon for them to receive small prizes or other attention when they are exposed to something that is sad, hurts or puts other strain.

These small gifts, if the hospital has anything, have a tendency to break quickly or contain small parts that make them unsuitable for children. It can be small bouncy balls or a toy where parts fall off. This just gets extra sad for the kids, and a sorry situation for the parents.

Young premature babies with parents also need care. It is not always that the hospital can provide such small clothes or anything else that can give the care the little one deserves. This will be terribly sad for the parents, who already have a great deal of stress.

The Alexander Project aims to rectify this.

The goal is to spread joy to children who are in hospital, and the parents of the very youngest.

Through a network of contacts, gifts, clothes and equipment for premature babies are distributed to several large hospitals in the country.

Gifts come from private donors, businesses or other voluntary organizations.

It is a pleasure that this network is constantly growing.

This beautiful knife was a gift from Fred Martila. It is handmade. This was a prize in a separate lottery. Here, too, the income went to the Alexander Project.
