Fredag - Helvete

No organized excursion was planned this day. This was not regarded as a problem, as there is always 'someone who knows something', and there is always 'a someone' who asks. "What is worth seeing?", "Is there anything exciting within a short trip radius?". The word of mouth therefore said that ‘Someone Somebody’ had planned to go to Hell with neon good (or bad?) friends. (‘Helvete’ is the Norwegian word for ‘Hell’).

As a result, a nice bunch of 30 bodies would join a trip to Hell. This is a gorge an hour away from Hunderfossen where there are some large potholes that were made after the last ice age.

Internasjonalt treff / International Rally

Wednesday was therefore set aside to facilitate basic details in the safety net for a successful meeting. There were many tables and benches that had to be set up inside the tent. A stage had to be in place, various papers and effects had to be sorted. It took a lot of work before 250 motorcycle enthusiasts could be admitted.

Participants arriving

On both Wednesday and Thursday, are motorcyclists arriving from all over the world. They came in larger or smaller groups, and several routes were used. For some, this international meeting will be the start of a long motorcycle holiday, for others it was a final detour to their European Tour. Of course, there were many participants from our close neighbors Sweden and Denmark. On such occasions, it is always especially nice with everyone who has traveled particularly far. Participants also came from Finland, Germany, England, Poland, the Netherlands, Spain and Belgium! It was especially nice that Francisco Gallegos came from YCC-Mexico. He had had a long trip from Mexico City, with stopovers in both Canada and England. (Hope no country is forgotten).

Friday - Hell

On Friday, things started to take shape. Hunderfossen was characterized by the location of a large motorcycle meeting. Lots of talk and lots of people. And of course; Lots of motorbikes.
