Day 12.

Waking up to some clouds and 18-19 degrees and the sound of thunderstorms far away. We had a good breakfast and lots of chatter in the morning. Then we were a little late in the traffic. We also had to drop by Santa before we started properly. There are some who claim that Santa Claus comes from Rovaniemi. It was a large area associated with the Arctic Circle. This is probably the home of Santa. Per and I are pretty sure that Santa Claus is not on properly. Jan, on the other hand, had to go around the area and take pictures. The old man disappeared. Finally, Jan returns and was absolutely sure. Santa's alive. He had talked to him, taken pictures and seen a movie about Santa Claus. Jan was up ad full speed. He is 68 years old and is absolutely sure that Santa Claus is real

About 12:30 we get out into the traffic. The driving goes so fast. Fantastic nice road. We sometimes stop in the nice weather for a break and some food. Became a little sightseeing around the city due to lots of road work. But finally we find our way out. Suddenly we arrive in Skellefteå where the room is booked and can lower our shoulders.

Day 13.

Today’s trip goes from Skellefteå to Härnösand. About 350 km along the ‘Bottenviken’. Starts in a little scary weather. Rain or no rain? We pretty much agree that we are going to face rain. Then we put the rain cloth e easily accessible and ready for emergency action.

Then the rain comes, and we throw the motorcycle into a picnic area and get dressed. Then we hear from Jan; “Where did I put my rain cloth?” He did not know that it was raining. But with a little time, Jan managed to get dressed. Jan deserves the designation T T T (3xT) things take time.

The trip continues at good speed before Jan signals that there is something wrong with the accelrator. There is a lot of nonfunctional area on the throttle. Super techniques Per Engh firmly believes that it is the ‘return wires’ that are off and do not work on the return.

We arrive at Hørnøsand in glorious sunshine. Hørnøsand is a small, beautiful city with about 18,000 inhabitants located along the E4 in Vesternorrland County. We must go out to see the night life, it's Friday. We find a place to eat down by the quay, have dinner and a couple of beers. We feel like a little pub crawl. Chatting with a nice Swede. Actually, we were surprised, almost thought there were no nice Swedes. Chatted a few words with him before he had to leave.

Immediately afterwards, a waitress with 3 large glasses of Jägermeister comes to us from the Swede who had just left. The Jägermeister found its way right into the fuse. Many thanks to the unknown Swede. Then the Sandman is on his way and it's night for us. We will ride a motorcycle tomorrow as well.
