I always enjoy advocating for change face to face with our congressional representatives in Washington D . C . However , I realized that major changes for dentistry in our own state are just as important . This is why it is crucial for me to contribute to PADPAC as we go to battle for our patients and profession .”

The end result of Pennsylvania dentists not lending support to PADPAC is not having legislation in Harrisburg being introduced in support of our profession and allowing outside interests , e . g . insurance companies , who have deep pockets influencing and controlling our chosen profession . We must constantly be vigilant to safeguard our ability to practice in the way we see fit . The Boy Scout moto of BE PREPARED comes to mind when I personally make a contribution to PADPAC . It gives all of us a seat and voice at the legislative table . Don ’ t be penny wise and dollar foolish ! Your contribution to PADPAC is an investment in your future .”
