CONTRACT ANALYSIS SERVICE
It is important to understand what you are agreeing to before you sign .
Many dentists participate with at least one insurance carrier , but how do you know if your contract is a good deal ? Understanding provider contracts is essential to deciding what is best for you and your patients , and to avoiding unpleasant surprises in the future . ADA ’ s contract analysis service can assist you in analyzing contract terms for a variety of contract types , including :
Provider contracts with third-party payers Certain dental management service organization contracts
Contracts offering dental students scholarships or loans in exchange for a commitment for future employment
When you receive a contract you would like reviewed , PDA will forward the contract to ADA for review and comment . The analysis of most contracts takes about one month from start to finish . When analysis is complete , PDA will forward a packet from the ADA explaining the advantages and disadvantages of the insurance contract .
This service is a complimentary member benefit to all PDA members .
