I fell in love with this industry almost as soon as I started working in it . However , I believe my pivotal moment would be when I was promoted to a Community Manager . Understanding the impact my decisions could make that affects people ’ s homes and the direct impact that my actions would have on the community and commitment to the property owner ( s ), was a huge responsibility that I have never taken lightly .
◆ WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE ABOUT THE MULTIFAMILY INDUSTRY ?
I would like for the Colorado legal system to go back , and really look at the some of the laws that were passed in the last two years . They would see the negative impact that was caused , not only to the landlords , but also to the residents they intended to help .
◆ TV SHOW BEST DESCRIBES YOUR MANAGEMENT STYLE ?
Bridgerton – Figure out a way to win and then support them on their journey to accomplish their goals . This show has a strong sense of loyalty , with some fun twists and turns .
◆ MOST IMPACTFUL PERSON IN YOUR CAREER ?
I have been so blessed to have had many people through the years share their knowledge and mentor me .
◆ FAVORITE TEAM-BUILDING ACTIVITY ?
My favorite Team-Building Activity , is anything that we do when we can all be together .
◆ YOUR IDEAL LONG WEEKEND ?
My ideal long weekend would be anywhere with my entire family , especially my two granddaughters .

There were a few but taking the plunge in 2005 and moving to Denver to join a newly formed company called RedPeak . One of the most pivotal outside of that , was needing to leave RedPeak to move back to the east coast and spending the next 11 years trying to replicate the culture / experience just to have the opportunity to return to the company in 2018 .
◆ WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE ABOUT THE MULTIFAMILY INDUSTRY ?
I ’ d like to create a better perception that the industry is a great career choice for young professionals . That has been a challenge for our industry .
◆ FAVORITE TEAM-BUILDING ACTIVITY ?
I prefer team retreats . The opportunity to bond together , work together and remove titles and barriers .
◆ MOST IMPACTFUL PERSON IN YOUR CAREER ?
One of the many reasons I love this industry is the opportunity to work alongside so many different people . I can ’ t say that one person has been the most impactful , but there were so many that helped me learn , that were willing to walk alongside me and give me a chance . Today , it is also about the people that I get to work alongside at RedPeak
