Kendra Halpern was my mentor for almost 9 years . She showed me the true meaning of leadership and helped me overcome some of the personal obstacles we all can be faced with when becoming a leader . She will always hold a special place in my heart .

When I started working for Wood Residential in 2013 and refocused my attention from C and D class assets to new construction and A class developments and 3rd party assets .

◆ TV SHOW BEST DESCRIBES YOUR MANAGEMENT STYLE ?

Schitt ’ s Creek- I love to laugh and create a warm inviting environment in our offices regardless of what our situation is on site . I always tell my TEAM ’ s if I don ’ t hear laughing and see smiles when I walk into one of our offices , there is something wrong .

◆ WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE ABOUT THE MULTIFAMILY INDUSTRY ?

It is becoming more and more difficult to find good talent . I think individuals graduating from college underestimate our industry and the potential career path it can unlock . It would be wonderful to see more internship opportunities so individuals can see that our industry is so much more than just a customer service career .

◆ YOUR IDEAL LONG WEEKEND ?

I ’ m a native born Coloradan but I love the ocean . Spending an entire weekend on the beach in the sun with my family and friends is my happy place .
