IMPRESSIONS
continued
truly exciting reasons to head to Hershey
every spring. I still believe that the
camaraderie that some lament has gone
away with this new format is still very
much a part of the meeting and a reason
why some of you still choose to attend.
With the wide variety of methods available
to obtain CE now that may be close to
home or even at home in front of the
computer, and the time commitments
that our members have in the 21st century,
is the constituent association annual
meeting still viable? This is an important
question to ask and one I encourage you
to share your opinions with your president
and your Board of Trustees. Remember
that you can also share your ideas with
local leadership, who will bring your
issues to the board through the Council
of Presidents.
Until then take some time to look over
the information in this issue about PDM
2017 and make plans to attend. I also
encourage you to put the America’s Dental
meeting in Atlanta next October on your
schedule. Don’t forget to take a look in
your crystal ball and start planning for
PDA 150, the HUGE anniversary of your
PDA. If this ends up being our last PDA
meeting then let’s go out with a BANG!
And finally, I want to wish you all the
best this holiday season and into the New
Year. Life is fast and flies by, especially
this time of year, so take the time to
stop and enjoy family, friends, staff or
your patients.
