FOR SMALL BUSINESSES BY VOTING NO ON Q
Laguna Beach has always valued small , locallyrun businesses over large corporations , big box retailers and out-of-town chains . On November 8 , Laguna voters need to stand up for the little guy once again and vote No on Q . Measure Q would be a disaster for our local small business community .

ONLY LARGE CORPORATIONS WILL BE ABLE TO AFFORD MEASURE Q
Ironically , Measure Q would actually create the non-existent problem Measure Q ’ s authors claim needs solving . By requiring applicants to wait up to two years for an election even after going through Laguna ’ s current approval process , Measure Q will reward large companies while sticking it to small businesses . Only deep-pocketed corporations can afford those sort of timing delays and cost increases .
STAND UP FOR THE LITTLE GUY BY VOTING NO ON Q
Laguna Beach already has some of the most restrictive zoning laws in the Country , laws that were written to defend locally-owned , family-run small businesses . We need to welcome new small businesses and enable our current ones to succeed if we want to keep our charming small-town environment . Let ’ s stand up for the little guy . Let ’ s keep the salons , fitness centers , restaurants and boutiques we locals love . Let ’ s vote No on Measure Q .
