AT ROOSEVELT ELEMENTARY
Bringing the Judiciary into the Classroom

Judges and magistrates from Florida’ s 15th Judicial Circuit brought the JNC Reading & Robes program to Roosevelt Elementary School in October, giving students a chance to meet members of the judiciary, enjoy read-aloud stories, and learn about the role judges play in their community. The visit offered a fun, firsthand look at the justice system, with plenty of opportunity for questions and conversation. Each student also went home with a copy of Turning Pages, the memoir by U. S.
