The Power of Partnership
The Food Bank doesn’ t work alone— we thrive because of partnerships with more than 200 local organizations that depend on regular deliveries from the Food Bank. There is never any charge to our partners for food or delivery. Together, we are building a safety net that stretches across Palm Beach County.
How You Can Help
The need is great, but so is the power of collective action. Every person in our community can play a role in fighting hunger.
• Volunteer: From helping pack meal bags for children and seniors to volunteering to help with events, there are opportunities for making a difference.
• Host a Food Drive: Schools, workplaces, neighborhoods, and civic groups can rally together to collect canned goods, pasta, rice, and other staples. These items go directly to the Food Bank’ s shelves and into the hands of families in need. come from. Whether you give your time, organize a food drive, or make a financial contribution, your support matters.
Because when we feed our community, we feed possibility. And when we join together, there is more than enough for everyone.
Linda Roman is Director of Development for the Palm Beach County Food Bank, where she works to increase awareness about hunger in Palm Beach County and builds partnerships throughout the community to support the Food Bank’ s hunger relief work. Prior to joining the Food Bank, Linda served 15 years at local nonprofits, including the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties and United Way of Palm Beach County.
