Nittany Beagle is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the lives of Beagles in Central PA . We accept Beagles from shelters and owners who can no longer keep them , and work to find them loving , permanent homes . Nittany Beagle Rescue is operated by a small group of dedicated volunteers who are always looking for additional help and support . Anyone wishing to volunteer , receive an adoption application , donate funds , or surrender a dog can contact us by email .
Nittany Beagle Rescue is located in Centre and Clearfield counties . Our Beagles are housed in wonderful foster homes located around Centre County and throughout the state of Pennsylvania , and in boarding kennels in Centre County that generously donate space to us .
We conduct adoptions in person at various locations , depending on where the Beagle is being fostered . You can apply online , in person at one of our showings , or you can mail your application to us . To apply online , just complete the application form and email it to us at info @ nittanybeaglerescue . org . All our Beagles are spayed or neutered at 6 months of age , or depending on the specific case history of the dog . Our dogs are all microchipped and up-to-date on distemper and rabies shots prior to adoption . Nittany Beagle Rescue welcomes applications from people who would like to provide a lifetime , loving home to a Beagle .
Nittany Beagle Rescue has been finding loving forever homes for Beagles , Beagle mixes and honorary Beagles for over 25 years . In recent years , the need for our services has increased considerably . We find loving homes for all of our dogs . In 2023 , we served 96 beagles . Already in 2024 , we have served 78 beagles , and have already found loving forever homes for 55 of them .

Nittany Beagle Rescue has showings at Lyons Kennels , 1826 Zion Road in Bellefonte , on the first and third Saturdays of the month from 11 am to 1 pm . In case of inclement weather , please look for us inside the store at Lyons Kennels .
