Expect to have unhappy customer ... No matter how great your work is , how much time you put into it " THIS CAN HAPPEN " for many reasons - miscommunication , some issues along the process , expectations vs . reality . So don ' t let this bring you down and try to learn from it and move on .
Be yourself and do your thing ! As hard as it is , be yourself and do not compare your work to others ! I know , I hear you guys ..... it ' s hard !!!!! Especially these days , when you open up social media platforms and the whole feed floods you with beautiful cookies / cakes creations and then you think you are average or bad at what you do ... remember that YOU ARE NOT ! We all started somewhere with some skills or no skills ... We all have different lives , some have big families with lots of kids some don ' t have kids ... full time job or part time job , every life is different , every person can put a different amount of time to bake cookies / create cakes and practice , every person can afford to buy different supplies , every person lives in areas with different weather condition ... there is so many aspects what can affect your work ! Scroll through your phone and find your first ever attemp at cookies / cake .... see , that is what was your starting point and now look at your last pic of your work .... this is what you should be so proud of ! so remember THAT ! Don ' t look elsewhere ! There are so many talented cookie artists , Cake artists etc ... and believe me , they have doubts also , they feel sometimes their work is not enough and they do compare themselves too ! We have to appreciate our skills and the work we do ! It ’ s not a competition !!!!! So stop comparing and just be youuuuu , stay focused , be proud how far you come .
Don ' t be scared / shy to ask for help especially during holiday seasons , this is so important ! Help to clean , help to fold boxes , help to package your beautiful treats .... it ' s not embarrassing to ask , and trust me family / friends would LOVE TO HELP you !
