Chewy Sweet Potato Treats
A healthy treat you can feel good about sharing with your pet !
• 1 large sweet potato
Ingredients :
• 1 1 / 2 tablespoons olive oil
• Cinnamon to taste
Directions :
1 ) Preheat oven to 250 degrees fahrenheit .
2 ) Slice sweet potato into long strips about a quarter inch thick . For smaller pieces , slice each of the strips in half .
3 ) Toss sweet potato slices with olive oil .
4 ) Lay sweet potato slices evenly onto a lined baking pan .
5 ) Sprinkle with cinnamon . 6 ) Bake for 2 1 / 2 - 3 hours .
7 ) Allow to cool and store in a ziploc bag or airtight container in the refrigerator .
* Treats will keep 2-3 weeks in the fridge and up to 4 months in the freezer .
