Our learners explored chemical changes and chromatography this month . We learned about the powerful effects of salt and vinegar and its ability to reverse oxidation . Our learners demonstrated this with old pennies and patience . We also experimented with chromatography and showed how colors are created and separated . In November , we ’ ll continue to explore seasonal ideas and incorporate history into our work .

We are encouraging each family to shop for new gifts and needs with their own child to bring in for our Angel Tree Collection . Please make this charity event be a part of your Christmas season this year with your child , to show them that Christmas is for others , not just for ourselves .
