On Thanksgiving morning we will offer a Cross-Country Golf course of 10-13 holes . Cross-Country golf is a fun start to your Holiday with , for example , hole 1 being played from 10th tee to 1 green , etc . Play will start at 10:15 . All carts must be in by 2:00 that day . The Clubhouse and Restaurant are Closed . Only this format of golf will be available that day .
If the weather is nice , Thanksgiving Holiday weekend is a popular golf weekend . If you plan to play please call for tee times . If you are a beginner , afternoon slots are better suited for your pace of play .
COURSE CONDITIONS : The Putting / chipping green near the parking lot has recently received a great deal of attention and is in really good shape . We NEED everyone to REPAIR ANY AND ALL BALLMARKS created by your chipping . Please use this green for bump and runs and not 30-yard pitch shots .
COACH ’ S TIPS : The greens are speeding up so come out a few minutes earlier than your tee-time and hit some practice putts before you play . It ’ s a good time to assess your grips and have the pro shop offer suggestions on new grips . ( Cheaper than buying a new set of clubs .)
Holiday gift buying could include a golf lesson or two for your friend , relative , or playing companion .
DONATE your used golf balls and older clubs for use in our junior program .
