MAJOR EVENTS
At the club ’ s annual meeting in September , the Board of Directors approved the formation of a Major Events Committee . Vice President Neal Lineberry is the chair of the committee that is charged with planning , promoting and coordinating club resources for designated major club event weekends in 2022 . The golf course , pool , and courts will all be included in plans for individuals and families . In the past a major event was defined as a one or two day golf tournament . A Major Event weekend in 2022 will now include all aspects of our club , golf , pickleball , swimming , tennis , bridge , mahjong , something for everyone . There will be food , games and fun . It ’ s a new concept for the club , but one that is needed . The goal is to include all members of the club . Committee members Weenie Miler , Jason Melvin , Molly Steel and Natalie Garvis are working hard to make these events a huge success . This isn ’ t just about golf . Think of a fun filled weekend at the club that members and families can enjoy and participate in .
