Golf Association
The late fall brings some of the best golf conditions we see here in Florida with the heat subsiding and the course drying out .
Hopefully , you got to enjoy the “ Monster Bash ” tournament , where the course superintendent and staff extracted revenge on participants by putting the pins in places that make scoring , even for a scramble foursome , difficult . The results will be shown in the next issue of the newsletter .
Next up is one of the most important club events of the year , the annual Marine Corps Toys for Tots tournament . The members of Eaglebrooke have been tremendous supporters of this cause over the years . Given all the difficulties of the last couple of years with the pandemic , let ’ s make this the best one ever from a participation and fund- raising standpoint !
Mid-November , we have the fall Member-Member on the 13th and 14th . Grab a partner early so you are not left out of what should be another great event . And don ’ t forget to put the last MGA event of the year on your calendar , the annual “ Blowout ”, which will be held on Saturday December 4th . This is where we ask MGA Treasurer Steve Beck to ( almost ) empty to coffers with prizes to cap off another great year of MGA tournaments .
We hope to see you all out on the course and in the Trophy and dining rooms too !
