I kept the site for about two years before terminating it. The platform I was using wasn't really working out for me for multiple reasons. IT felt impossible to keep everything organized and legible. The link to my site was extremely long. Overall, no matter how much I would attempt to make it look visually appealing, it wasn't happening. I was also still saving up for a decent camera at the time. There was still so much I had left to do.
For two years, I had taken a hiatus on working towards my goal as a Photographer. I spent those two years working at various jobs and finding my own place to lay my head. Finally, midway through 2019, I began working towards my goal again. I started by creating a new website. This time, it would be so much cleaner than the last. This time, it will be under a new name.
The name I chose is Pen & Camera. Not only am I a Photographer, but I've became a writer as well. One day doing photo shoots. Next day ghost writing for an artist. Sticking to one thing isn't something I wanted to do. Originally, I only wrote poetry and did portraits. I branched out

Eight years ago, when I was a senior in high school, I picked up a camera for the first time. Out of all the other options, that Extracurricular seemed the most interesting to me. During the remainder of the year, I kept going to those classes. The more I did, the more knowledge I acquired. The more knowledge I gained, the more interested I became. I soon began to get better each day and started enjoying it.
That was when I decided to go to college for a few years taking photography classes. I began acquiring some knowledge on different equipment, some editing programs I could use and other forms of Photography. It felt like there was so much to learn in order to make this a career. Still, I didn't want to quit because I still loved doing this form of art.
