What ’ s Happening From Heidi …
Greetings from my desk !
First off , WOW ! Fallfest … I know , right ? For those of you that attended , I hope that you had a wonderful time . It was exciting to see the people , to shop , to listen to the band , to watch the street artists hard at work , and to just be out in the gorgeous weather . Things were different , but we made it work . Be sure to check our Facebook page for more pictures .
Special shout out to all of those who helped Make A Difference week become the success that it was . We could not have done it without the support or contributions made by our community members or businesses . We have been asked to continue this week in 2021 , so be on the lookout for that . As always , though , you don ’ t have to wait until next year to do something , you can Make A Difference every day in someone ’ s life .
Moving forward into the next few months , we are looking to different outside events . The open air market , Kriskindlmarkt , the holiday drive-thru parade , Fireside chats with Santa , the Holiday lights , and window decorating . We are excited to be able to bring these various events to Sparta in the safest manner possible . Watch our Facebook page and website for more information .
We have lots of projects that we will be working on this winter here at the Depot . We are currently updating our computers and running system audits . Our social media strategist is performing her own audit across all of our media platforms . We are working on our website to make it easier to navigate . We are working on our internal processes and procedures to be able to better serve our members in a higher quality capacity .
