Time, talent and treasure.

There is no better example of this

phrase brought to life than Elsie!

Time: Elsie has been involved in Girl

Scouting for most of her life. She was

a girl member for six years and has

been an adult member of Girl Scouting for over 40 years! She has volunteered as a Girl Scout leader, as part of the Service Team and Trainer in addition to serving on just about every committee as well as the Board of Directors here at GSSNE.

Talent: Elsie’s service to our council and the girls we serve has been invaluable and deeply appreciated. Her commitment and leadership roles in GSSNE have been recognized and she received the Outstanding Leader Award and was the recipient of GSSNE’s highest recognition, the Mira Hoffman Award.

Treasure: Elsie has financially supported GSSNE for many years and her passion for Girl Scouting is clear. She has donated to GSSNE’s urban/community outreach programs, Camp Hoffman, the Leadership Center and our Annual Fund. Now Elsie is passing on the legacy of Girl Scouting to the next generation of girls by recently becoming a member of GSSNE’s Planned Giving Society—The Juliette Gordon Low Society.

We cannot thank Elsie enough for all she has done, and continues to do, for girls in our community!
