Happy Fall Y ’ all !
I am so excited for what this year will bring being crowned your WSCA 2023-2024 Queen . I can ’ t thank my saddle club Scandia Riders , my family , and friends enough for the love and support over the last year .
These last few months have been very busy ! I headed to the Champ Show in September where I showed , worked in the barn office , show office , and handing out awards . I want to thank WSCA and all of the people who helped run the show for all of the opportunities I am now being given . Seeing things from the backside made me realize all the hard work that the volunteers put in . At the end of the week , I was crowned to be a part of the WSCA court . I couldn ’ t be more excited to be a part of this organization and about the adventure to come .
The court has a busy few months coming up and lots of planning ! We attended the October board and general meeting . We will be attending the November board meeting . Then in December , we will be going to the Horse Crazy Market , Las Vegas National Finals Rodeo , Winter Carnival Parade , and attending many banquets . If you would like us to attend your banquet to help hand out awards , please reach out to Lori or I .
As for now , I am going to be spending the last bit of fall enjoying quality time with my horses . One of my favorite things to do in the fall is to go for trail rides when it ' s not too cold ! My goal before the snow is to pony my weanling , Dory , to get her ready for WSCA outings next year . Thank you again for all the opportunities , looking forward to a great year !
