Haunted Heat Showdown: A Record-Breaking Chili Cookoff with Spooktacular Flavor
We turned up the heat— and the haunt— at this year’ s Haunted Heat Showdown, held on October 11 at the RediCarpet Warehouse. Back with more fire than ever before, this year’ s Chili Cookoff featured the largest floor plan in event history, giving teams extra room to get creative, compete fiercely, and concoct their boldest brews yet.
But one addition stole the show before the first spoon even dipped: The haunted house transformed the back corner of the warehouse into a spirited maze of spooky scenes, eerie décor, and a few surprises lurking around each corner. It added a new layer of fun for attendees of all ages.
Inside, the warehouse brimmed with tasty chili, high-energy teamwork, and spooktacular costumes, but only a handful of teams walked away with bragging rights. Below are the contenders who claimed victory in each category.
