Val was influential to me in the early years, showing how important our maintenance teams were … and building vocational education for maintenance techs.
VICTOR SANCHEZ ^
Victor has been photographing AAMD events for over 18 years. His photography( still & video) skills and personable approach with our members have elevated the events and captured so so many special moments and experiences. In fact, the majority of the pictures from the last 30 pages were likely taken by Victor or his team.
VICKIE JACOBS( BREAUX, MICHAUD)
Vickie has volunteered in so many different roles for AAMD over the years- too many to count. Her HR background gave her a really sharp understanding of people and relationships. Vickie is always willing to jump in and help AAMD
WALTER( BUZ) KOELBEL
A real estate industry icon in Colorado. His stewardship of his company carried the philosophy that " rewards come from creating communities for people to live, work, shop, and play. Giving back to these communities completes the full circle of development ". Buz taught many of us to hold on strong to founding principles of individual liberties and free market economies with minimal government intervention.
WENDY JENKINS
Wendy was an Education Manager for AAMD for several years. She was excellent at recruiting and retaining a talented pool of instructors and presenters. She had a creative spirit and a quick wit.
WHITNEY HOPP
Whitney was an Office Manager for AAMD for several years. She always was super proactive in getting the office and team prepared for meetings and general activity. She was a joy to work with and contributed a lot to member services as well.
YVONNE ALVA LENS
Yvonne has made her Footprints in the AAMD Sand last forever with meaningful and impactful contributions over the years. She is a super compassionate leader and volunteer who has helped AAMD make generous charitable impact for Family Homestead and many others through the Apartments Giving Back platform.
VICTOR SULZER >
Vic has contributed so much time, energy and legal expertise to our industry and association( s), especially in Southern Colorado as he served multiple Board of Director terms, and taught so many classes for AASC. His deep understanding of landlord tenant law and his assertive advocacy for his clients and the industry have made him invaluable.
