Terry is an apartment industry icon and founder of AIMCO, Terry has always been a strong supporter of my career with AAMD- always was willing to help when I asked him. Terry taught me the critical importance of protecting property rights and advocacy for our business and how to seize opportunities.

As an early influencer on me at AAMD, Terry taught me so many important lessons about relationships, in that they were personal before they evolved into business. Of her many superpowers, she had a unique skill set of making people believe in themselves by believing in them first.

One of my original mentors in the Association world( Arizona MFHA), Terry taught me that association work can be a slow boil to get everyone on board, but once hot- strike with effective implementation and impact.

Terry is the perfect balance between toughness and empathy. Over the years we ' ve become great friends and worked on so many local & national projects. He is the most reliable, on-time, prepared volunteer on the planet. He has taught me a lot about the multifamily business, but more about relationships and prioritizing family.

Tim worked for AAMD for about 3 years … where he used his middle linebacker mentality to tackle tough challenges with our Council forums allowing them to grow and value add to our programs. Tim has a refined and professional demeanor infused with a super kind heart and personable approach.

Tim is a seasoned and very versatile maintenance professional who is a leader by example and not afraid to jump in and get his hands dirty. His leadership and involvement in our educational offerings and Maintenance Mania has advanced the value of these programs in several ways.
