Philadelphia Fish House Punch This is one of America’ s earliest mixed drinks, and the recipe can be traced back to 1795.
Serves: 10 – 12
• 17 oz( 500 ml) Jamaican dark rum
• 8½ oz( 255 ml) Cognac
• 6 oz( 175 ml) Giffard Crème de Pêche de Vigne
• 8½ oz( 255 ml) lemon juice
• 2½ oz( 75 ml) simple syrup
• 8½ oz( 255 ml) filtered water( or to taste)
Chill all ingredients then combine in a punchbowl with large blocks of ice and stir gently to combine. To serve, ladle into rocks glasses or punch cups with ice. Garnish with lemon half-wheels, peach slices and freshly grated nutmeg.

Honey Syrup Combine three parts honey and one part hot water by weight in a jug and stir until completely mixed. Store in a glass jar at room temperature for up to 1 month. As needed, set the jar in a bowl of hot water to soften. >
