“ I was actually looking for a [ lash ] serum myself. I’ d had extensions and lost all of my lashes because of an allergic reaction – so many fell out,” Arthur tells the Connection, with Spiliopoulos and Rugolo sitting on either side.
“ The only serum we had in Australia was not natural so I knew I would have a reaction

to it as I have very sensitive skin – and then because of COVID, I couldn’ t even purchase it as all the salons were closed.”
The friends commiserated, bemoaning the lack of options and their limited accessibility, until a Google search sparked an incredible opportunity. They each contributed funds to create a prototype, trialling natural, locally sourced ingredients with results backed by science – and the rest is history. >
