OUR LEADER
With the change of seasons and weather, I am reminded of the transformation happening every day at Home of the Innocents. Our impact on the community is made possible by your generosity, dedication, and belief in our mission.
This fall, we are especially proud to celebrate the impact of our Parent Education Program. Every class session and resource shared help parents strengthen their skills and confidence, improving family relationships. Between April and June 2025, 86 % of program participants reported an improvement in their child’ s behavior, which contributes to long-term stability.
We are also honored to mark a milestone. Not only did we celebrate a Topping Off ceremony to mark the structural completion of the Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center expansion, but 2025 also recognizes 50 years of care for medically complex children through the Home. For five decades, this unique program has provided exceptional, compassionate care and created a remarkable legacy of healing, innovation, and love.
As we reflect on these achievements, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the donors, volunteers, and team members who make our work possible. Each of you plays an essential role in ensuring that children and families find the hope, health, and happiness they deserve.
Thank you for walking alongside us in this important mission. Together, we are writing the next chapter in Home of the Innocents’ story, filled with resilience, compassion, and possibility.
