Each sketch is filled with sound effects, ambient noise, background sounds and
music to help create the illusion of each scene.
Yesterday Night Taped takes the old classic "Theater of the Mind" style radio that was
popular back in the early 1900s and remixes it for modern day audiences.
Yesterday Night Taped has a slew of exceptionally talented writers and cast of phenomenal
performers that truly bring the audio presentation to life.
The diverse main cast stars entertainer / screenwriter Bryan James Anthony, music
producer / actor Louis Castle, stand up comedians Andre Davis and James Draper,
classically trained theater actors and improvisational performers D'ara Gray and Chamar
Little, voice actresses Katherine Renka and Sarah Golding, poet, author and spoken word
performer Niana Renee, and film actors Monique Greene and James Tavelle who have had
major roles in multiple original films on Amazon Prime over the past couple of years.
The show also features additional performances by prominent radio personality Johnny Ray
and rising stand up comedienne / comedic actress Laquita Johnson as well.
Jonathan Coleman, show's executive producer (best known for producing the prestigious
Blacktopia Round Table Talk on BlogtalkRadio) also joins the fun by filling in and playing
many of the supporting and minor characters in various sketches.
