May is the month that we all
celebrate 10 Years of Norwex
in Australia! We have twenty
of the 10th Big Birthday Bash
celebration events around
Australia this month, some of
which would have already taken
place by the time this article
reaches you. What is it that
we are celebrating together?
Norwex, which includes you our
Consultants, has had a marked
positive impact on the lives of
Australians in so many different
ways and it is this impact that
we are celebrating together.
Firstly, our Mission to radically
reduce chemicals in homes
across Australia has been
a highly effective one. With
Norwex products estimated to
have made their way into over
one million homes in Australia
to date, the education process
has gained traction. Families in
these homes are more aware of
the necessity to work towards
reducing the chemicals that
they come into contact with in
the home. The knock-on effect
of this is of course that studies
indicate that the livelihood of
people living in these homes
has been improved and that
the environmental impact of
chemicals used in homes has
been reduced. Now that is
something to be celebrated!
In addition, whether we are
talking of a Norwex Consultant
or a Norwex Customer, Norwex’
promise to save time and
money in the cleaning process
is being lived out. One of our
Vice President Sales Leaders,
Sandra Russell, took the time to
calculate how much time and
money Norwex has saved her
over the ten years that she has
been a Consultant. Sandra is
the first to admit that prior to
Norwex she was a “clean freak”
and used a lot of chemical-
based cleaning products in
her home. It turns out that
by using Norwex products to
clean her home Sandra has
saved $8000 and 1040 hours
of time over the ten years. I
know what I would rather do
with $8000 and I am sure you
do too! As for the 1040 hours,
if you looked at this in terms of
normal working days, Sandra
would have 4 months of time
available to her. I know what I
would rather be doing with 4
months of time than cleaning!
We can celebrate the fact
that Norwex is living up to its
promise of saving people time
and money. And let’s not forget
the change we are making in
the lives of Norwex Consultants
from an income perspective.
Whether Consultants are
working Norwex part time
or full time, there is a very
valuable earnings opportunity
being made available and a
very generous one too. It is so
