Get to know the Norwex Home Office Team! With so many changes at our Australian Home Office, we are pleased to re-introduce you to our new Product and Compliance Officer, Rachael Whiting Q & A WITH RYAN PEDLOW RP: Hi Rach, thanks for taking the time to sit down and have a chat. You have a new role at Norwex – tell us about it. RW: Hi Ryan, I am very excited to become the new Product & Compliance Officer for Norwex Australia/NZ and being able to join the Marketing Department. My role will involve liasing with our Global Team to help provide up to date information and resources on all of our products, product ingredients, Compliance and Social Media. RP: Well welcome to the Marketing Department! We’re excited to have you here. Consultants probably know that you were already looking after these areas as a part of the Consultant Care Centre, how does the move to Marketing change things? RW: Now that I am part of the Marketing Team, I can really focus on the areas of Compliance, Social Media, Product knowledge and NoRA to provide the level of service needed for these areas to the best of my ability. RP: You’ve been here for a number of years now. Tell us how you got started with Norwex. RW: I started with Norwex just over 4 years ago in the warehouse as a Temp before being offered a full time position. I was then very fortunate to move into the office to join our Consultant Care Team and have now been promoted to the Marketing Department. I feel very lucky to be a part of such a wonderful ‘Family’ and to be given such great opportunities. RP: As our product specialist, tell us something we probably don’t know about a Norwex product. RW: Well you will be hearing all that information and more from me now that I have this role :) RP: What do you enjoy doing to unwind, when you’re not at work? RW: My 2 boys play a lot of sport and I enjoy nothing more than watching them. When I can grab a bit of quiet time to myself I love to read. RP: Funniest or most fun thing you’ve experienced working at Home Office? RW: While working in the warehouse we had a big box we took the packing pillows from that was always full. Danni thought that if she fell back onto these she would float on top like a big pillow bed. Well she didnt, and she sunk to the bottom of the box with only her feet out the top. She couldn't get back out and we all stood there laughing at her and taking photos. RP: Who inspires you? RW: My sons inspire me all the time to be the best mum that I can. To live life and regret nothing. My 8 year old said to me only the other day that “I need to believe, if I want to achieve’. Thanks Rach, I’m sure everyone’s loved getting to know you a little better. And once again, congratulations on your new role. PEOPLE . meet the Home Office Team 19
