Get to know the Norwex Home Office Team!
This month, we sit down with a new
member of the Team – Jade Phillips
Q & A WITH RYAN PEDLOW
RP: Hi Jade, and welcome aboard! What have
you been doing since you’ve joined us here at
Home Office?
JP: I started out assisting the Consultant Care
Team with various projects and getting to know
some of our wonderful Consultants. Since then
I’ve moved over to the Sales and Marketing
department. My main task for the next few
months will be to assist with booking training
events and the big one… Conference!
RP: We’re excited to have you helping out. What do
you love about working here at Norwex?
JP: The people here are great to work with and I
love the ethos behind Norwex and what they
do. Looking after the environment is something
I’m pretty passionate about so anything that
can help reduce chemicals and nasties getting
into our waterways gets a big tick in my book.
RP: What were you doing before Norwex?
JP: You don’t have enough room in your newsletter
for it all but the short of it is, studying a
Bachelor of Business/Arts and temporary
administrative contracts with Not-for-Profit,
Local Government and Performing Arts
organisations.
RP: Do you have a favourite Norwex product?
JP: I’m only new, so I’m yet to experience the entire
catalogue of Norwex products available but the
Timeless Relaxation Rescue Gel is a huge hit
amongst us desk dwellers!
RP: Do you have a favourite inspirational quote to
share with us?
JP: Is it ok to admit I’m not big on inspirational
quotes? A few rules I like to live by though…
question everything; don’t worry about things
you have no control over; treat people how you
want to be treated and as Monty Python says
“Always look on the bright side of life, da doo,
da do da do da do”.
RP: What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
JP: If someone asks me to go and see a live band I
will struggle to say no, even if my bank account
is screaming for a reprieve. Consequently,
I’ve seen over 200 live acts now and can be a
little hard of hearing. I love camping, festivals,
beach trips, hiking, art, reading, travel, politics..
but I always try to accompany these activities
with delicious food and wine, or whisky, or
beer. I’m also a lover of motorcycles and will,
without fail, watch every round of the MotoGp,
even if that means staying up late on a Sunday
night because of European time differences.
Do Norwex have a product to stop bags under
my eyes?
RP: One final question – are you excited for
Conference?!
JP: YESSSS!!! I’ve heard lots of great stories so I’m
ready and waiting to see it for myself.
