PNAA Advance 2021 will be different than most virtual conference experiences you have seen thus far in the aerospace industry . Our goal is to provide the same premier experience that you have come to expect of our in-person conference - this year , for the first time on a customdesigned virtual platform . We have created an environment that will allow virtual attendees to feel like they are in a life-like environment with familiar faces , leveraging technologies that will readily bridge the virtual environment gap . We wanted to do something special for our 20th Anniversary Conference . We truly believe this virtual platform will contribute to what makes this year special .
This year , as you begin your conference experience , you will arrive in the PNAA Concourse Lobby , the virtual conference ’ s main hub . From there , you will be able to view all of the facets of the conference in one place , learn about the different features , and decide how you want to navigate your experience . We will offer two simultaneous live video streams , one being the main presenter stage , the other our focused-topic SME technical track . The exhibit hall will feature highly-interactive booths , where it will appear as if you are standing , in-person , in front of the booth of your choosing . You will be able to click different widgets in the booth , allowing you to watch videos , launch PDF or web content , send an email , schedule a meeting , or even text chat or 2-way video conference . You will also have an option to take your conversation into the PNAA Networking Lounge or take your conversation outside of the platform and into your own Zoom or Teams meeting .
As you have come to expect from our traditional conferences , this year ’ s event will feature dynamic networking opportunities , including dedicated networking breaks throughout each conference day . You will be able to connect with industry peers in the various networking lounges and engage speakers following their presentations in the First-Class Lounge . Media will have use of the dedicated Media Lounge . Our acclaimed B2B Fair has also been adapted to a virtual platform . Suppliers will be able to schedule meetings directly with buyers from OEMs and Tier 1s throughout all three days of the conference . Even our International Reception and Awards and Scholarships Receptions will carry on this year , albeit virtually , and we have put together virtual industry tours of local aerospace companies .
