E
arlier this summer, AFL hosted an open
house for customers and Boeing suppliers to tour
the facility. “Their eyes lit up,” Ueltschi said.
“They were in awe at the freshness and the new-
ness — experienced staff, preservation of product
and rubberized flooring throughout.”

on basic Mil-Spec, but AFL seeks to clear the
last, yet biggest hurdle — Boeing approval on
the D1-4426 specification that establishes them
as an approved supplier for Boeing-spec parts.
“We are committed to meeting this requirement,”
says Ueltschi. “Looking into the future, Boeing
certification will unlock an ocean of opportunity
for our business to grow.”
