N
orthern Idaho is getting a repu-
tation for being a hub for aerospace
manufacturing and aviation. In fact,
Sandpoint, Idaho has a luxury fly-in
neighborhood with residential hous-
ing called SilverWing. It provides
direct access to the Sandpoint Airport
and you can own a 3,000 square foot
home with a 55’ x 56’ hangar/garage
for parking your aircraft. This unique
property illustrates that something
special is going on in the region —
including the story of Quest Aircraft.
Manufactured in Sandpoint, the sin-
gle-pilot aircraft is known as a “luxury
sport utility vehicle with wings,”
according to their website.
The 10-seat aircraft is decked out in
leather interior, wood panel accents
and flat panel screens for their avionics
system — a glass cockpit.
