In Puget Sound , Washington Boeing employees donated $ 21.3 million , including the company gift match , and 106,000 volunteer hours throughout 2020 . The Puget Sound chapter of the Employees Community Fund of Boeing — an employee-managed nonprofit — donated $ 4.3 million to local nonprofits including the Downtown Emergency Service Center , Friends of Youth and Dress for Success Seattle .
Just as our employees responded to the unprecedented challenges of 2020 , so did our company .
In the early days of the pandemic , Boeing helped transport personal protective equipment to frontline healthcare workers through airlifts and our additive manufacturing network .
This year , Boeing also supported vaccination efforts by offering Boeing sites as mass vaccination clinics , including Auburn and Everett .

Boeing also invested in COVID-19 relief efforts in India and Indonesia to help communities struggling with the pandemic in 2021 .
In response to racial injustice in the U . S . and across the globe , Boeing committed to change — both inside our company and in our communities . We created a Racial Equity Task Force made up of a diverse group of company leaders to serve as our long-term think tank . And we are focusing investments in programs and nonprofits that help communities of color and other underserved communities .
